FD30 Steel & Glass Fire Doors - Classic
Our Classic FD30 steel and glass fire doors deliver the same exceptional craftsmanship and bespoke design approach as our ultra thin firedoors - Fireline Slim, but with a wider profile for projects where a wider frame is preferred.
Offering 30 minutes of integrity performance, they are designed for internal use and bring together fire-rated protection, elegant steel glazing and made-to-order flexibility in one beautifully considered system.
Glass & Steel FD30 Fire Rated Doors
Safety is important to us and all our hinged glass & steel doors (single and double) are available as 'FD30 integrity performance only' which provides up to 30 minutes of fire resistance to help slow the spread of fire in an emergency.
At RK Steel we know that style is important so you don't need to compromise design, we have a range of styles to suit your home or business.
What is FD30 fire rating?
FD30 integrity performance only, provides up to 30 minutes of fire resistance to help slow the spread of fire in an emergency. This creates valuable time as a protective buffer, helping to contain fire within the affected area while supporting safer escape. It is a reassuring level of performance delivered within a refined and design-led steel and glass system.
FD30 fire rated glass doors and sound proof options are available in all styles but ONLY available as hinged doors (not pocket, bifold or pivot).

Internal FD30 Steel Fire Doors
This project is a perfect showcase of how RK Steel Classic FD30 internal fire doors combine fire safety performance with exceptional design.
Working with Spatial Design Architects, the interior features a striking palette of dark wall panelling and rich wood flooring, creating a dramatic backdrop that allows the glass & steel doors to stand out as a true design feature. The large glazed panels introduce light and openness into the space, balancing the depth of the darker tones.
Every detail has been carefully considered — from the brass handles, which perfectly complement the warm hues of the room, to the refined steel framework that blends seamlessly with the overall aesthetic.
These FD30-rated Crittall style steel doors not only provide fire safety and durability but also deliver a statement look, proving that functionality and style can go hand in hand.
We also have a range of very slim FD30 fire doors.
