Outstanding sound proofing

We were searching for high quality glazed interior doors for our project to add an office and casual TV lounge to our home, which we built in 2015. The doors needed to lend light to an intervening dining area and provide an element of soundproofing to both the office and TV lounge. In our search we came across RK Door Systems and in particular their RK Steel Doors. We made the journey to Hertford to be able to see and touch the product and to meet Elliott Woodman who answered all our questions and provided a great introduction to the RK product range.
Long story short we purchased 2 RK Steel doors which fulfilled our needs for passage of light and soundproofing - and we are absolutely delighted. These are beautifully constructed doors - really high end, - and guaranteed to deliver a wow factor to any newbuild or home improvement project.
We’re particularly delighted - and a little astonished - by the soundproofing element to these doors. We’ve installed a very powerful Sennheiser soundbar in the TV lounge. My son and I watched Top Gun Maverick with the audio wound up to a pretty high level. The door was closed and no-one else in the ground floor was even aware the movie was playing! Outstanding - and well beyond our expectations!
I would highly recommend RK Door Systems and RK Steel to anyone looking for high-end interior or exterior doors. We are very happy with all aspects of our purchase and thank Elliot and Tressy for all their excellent assistance through our project journey.

I have had two RK front doors and a number of internal steel glazed doors over the past 5 years fitted in different homes. The bespoke designs and construction has enabled us to have these doors tailored to our needs. They have all been expertly fitted by Jason and helped improve our EPC ratings. Customer service is professional and the quality of these highly insulated doors speaks for themselves.

We've just had a steel framed fixed screen and double internal door fitted by Kit from RK Steel. At all stages in the project Kit, Amy and Julie have been brilliant. We absolutely love the doors which have been beautifully fitted by Kit and Christian, who has been very patient in getting the job "just right". Dealing with RK has been a breath of fresh air and I would highly recommend them.

We purchased and just had our new front and side doors fitted by RK Doors. We also bought some of their new RK Steel Crittall style inner doors. We are totally delighted with them! The doors themselves are of the highest quality and design and the company are both professional and a pleasure to deal with. Ben Johnson in the showroom couldn’t have been more helpful! He kept us informed throughout from the design and initial order stage through to the fitting a few days ago…and Kit did a superb job fitting them! We unreservedly recommend them!

Beautiful glass and steel Crittall style doors
Charles Tellerman
Very happy with the beautiful glass and steel Crittall style doors supplied and fitted by Elliot Woodman, Clive and Stefan. The doors arrived on time and fitted perfectly by Clive and Stefan as promised - the delivery men were amazing too - it couldn’t be much fun carrying very heavy floor to ceiling steel doors up two flights of stairs but their delivery men smiled and joked all the way through - RK Steel provided a great service and we will not hesitate to use them again.

We have just installed internal RK Steel glass/steel doors/partitioning. We're delighted with the result. They look fantastic and are of a high quality. We looked at alternatives and RK Steel offered the best value. The buying process was really easy (they have a very useful design tool) and the installation went without a hitch. All in all very happy.
